Andrew placed 2nd in the Doc Watson Guitar Contest held at Merlefest!




Grant placed 4th in the Master's Division at the Alabama State Fiddle Championship!




Andrew won 1st place in flatpick guitar for the second year and Grant won 3rd place in mandolin at the Tennessee State Fiddle Championships in Clarksville on March 19th.




Andrew, Grant, and Mark recently received an endorsement by Blue Chip Picks, pictured here with owner/creator Matthew Goins.






Andrew received an endorsement from Silverangel Mandolins. He is accepting his new mandolin from Ken Ratcliff, luthier.





We enjoyed the Smokey Mountain Fiddler's Convention where Andrew won 1st in Mandolin and 3rd in Guitar. Grant also won 3rd in Mandolin, 2nd in Jr (adult) Fiddle, and 1st in Juvenile Musician. The family band competed against 13 other bands to win 4th place.






Andrew and Grant do studio work on Rick and Sara Vella's cd "A Letter From the Captian."






BIG News from the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree:
Grant wins top Jamboree award as the best fiddler in the National Championship for Country Musucian Beginners. He also received the "Entertainer of the Year" award for top finishes in Guitar, Fiddle, and second place in Mandolin. Andrew took 3rd place in Bluegrass Banjo, and the family band also took top honors as 1st place in the Bluegrass Band Competition.
