The Greater God's Love Will Shine by Dennis Duff and Lisa Shaffer

The bigger the burden,
The heavier the hearts ache
The deeper the lonely night
The greater God' love will shine

The lower the valley
The wider the river
The higher the mountain to climb
The greater God's love will shine

The more love you need, the more He will give. The weaker you are the stronger he is.
In your darkest hour that is when you will find
The greater God's love will shine

When you got troubles
When you are hurting
Just open your heart to his light
The greater God's love will shine

My Father in Me by Dick Gaskin

My father taught me early on to count my blessings every day
Did not hesitate to show me right from wrong
He was hard as any one, I guess in every single way
I miss him more and more since he’s been gone.

I can take on all the world was all that I could see
And though I had all the answers I would need
But he knew so much more and loved me patiently
Wish that I had more of my father in me

As I look at my own son I wonder what he will say
Doin the best I can to show him the right way
Talked to my own father most every day
And I finally understand and learn the hard way

Long Winding Back Road by Lisa Shaffer and Steve Dean

Driving by the barley fields, past the Miller's Farm
That is when I know I am half mile from our old red barn.
There's the fence my Daddy built at the bottom of Sherman's ridge
And the house I grew up in just across the one lane bride

This long and winding back road twist and turns through my mind
I close my eyes and I can smell the honey suckle vines
Growing wild by the creek bed that's where I feel at home
Down this long winding back road

I can hear the interstate roaring like a train
All night long rolling on keeping me awake
Then I think about the whippoorwills singing me to sleep
The fireflies dancing as I drift into a dream

0600 Train by Wayne Reed

That train it leaves at 6 am tomorrow
I'll be climbing on and running from my sorrow
Those tracks they keep stretching out a long long way from here
I'll keep riding on until you're nowhere near
A long long way
Long long way
Long long way down the line
Leaving you behind

All the pain and grief you brought me just like my daddy tried to tell me
Said you'd come around and try to break my heart again
But young fools they don't listen to the words that they should hasten
Now I'm going to the station gotta bring this to an end.

One more day and I'll be leaving I don't care where I'm going
If i ever come back around I can't say when
When the one you love deceives you, and all the lies you finally see through
You'll soon find out those rails are your best friend

Now that true love's turned to misery I want to hear that whistle blowing
I want to see that smoke a'showin' as the engine builds its steam
