The Rigney Family Band is a bluegrass lovin' family that has a great time making music together! Located in Normandy, Tennessee, the band includes dad, mom, and two sons whose talents far surpass their ages (11 & 14). The Rigney's perform regularly at festivals, fundraisers, private parties, contests, restaurants and other venues. Their music ranges from contest-style fiddle songs to traditional bluegrass favorites, and of course beloved gospel.

Grant receiving 2008 Instrumental Entertainer of the Year award at the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree in the National Country Music Beginner's Catagory. Grant won or placed in the top three in fiddle, mandolin, guitar and dobro catagories. This is his second time to win this award. Way to go Grant!
Grant placed 2nd out of 32 contestants
in the Beginner Musician catagory
at Uncle Dave Macon Days in Murfreesboro, TN on July 11th. He received a cash prize along with a Gold Tone Plucky banjo!
Hot News !!! Andrew and Grant won top spots at Fiddler's Grove at the Wilson Country Fair. Andrew won 2nd place in the mandolin and guitar competition, Grant won 1st place in Mandolin and 3rd place in the Beginner Fiddle catagory. Way to go guys!
